  Links to Paradox and Access

I am experienced in a wide range of database applications and specialize in the database systems called Access and Paradox.

To learn more about Access and Paradox, you may wish to visit the official Paradox site at Corel and/or the official Access site at Microsoft via these underscored links.

Another good site, especially if you are in the Maryland area, is the list of Maryland Independent Computer Consultants.  They provide a wide variety of services, including network troubleshooting and administration, hardware and web design, among others.

  Important Memberships Links

I am a member of the Maryland Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. Founded in 1949, the Maryland Chapter is one of 157 ASTD chapters serving the needs of local members and is comprised of more than 300 professionals in workplace learning, organizational development, human resources, consulting, and related fields.
I am also a member of the American Bar Association. The ABA is the umbrella organization for 33 Specialty Sections, Divisions and Forums that not only offer the latest information in members' areas of interest, but also provide ongoing opportunities through meetings, conferences, seminars and the Internet to interact with legal experts from all over the country. These contacts can have particular significance as we approach the new millennium.

  Patches and Other Resources

Access normally is released in a somewhat incomplete form, later to be repaired through "Service Releases" that cure problems.  Click here to get downloads, Corel Paradox has several newsgroups that can provide help.  Also, a common problem associated with ZIP and JAZ drives can be repaired at the "Click of Death" site.
